Questions about 8 month olds. Need help.?
I’ve never had children, but I am currently writing a story. One of my characters is an eight month old boy named Henry. He is my main character’s son. My questions are: What milestones do most babies reach by the age of eight months? How many teeth do they have on average? If you have any stories about your eight month olds please share. I’ve done some research on baby center, but it is all pretty basic since all babies are different. Reading your answers will just give me some ideas.
My youngest of 5 children is now 8 months old. Now what you must keep in mind is that all children, including my own, develop at different times.
But for my baby girl:
She just got her first tooth last week, its barely peeking through, but she sure will chomp down if you stick your finger in her mouth!
She also 3 days ago, starting the “army” crawl. Where she digs her elbows in the carpet and pulls herself forward.
She can get on all fours and rock back and forth.
She can NOT sit up yet 
She loves her jarred food now…finally!!!!
She now says “dada” and really LOUD!!!
If she is felling lazy, she will roll herself over and over to where ever she wants to get to.
And she on most nights FINALLY sleeps through the night!
